AHSGE Remediation

Seniors who will be taking one or more portions of the Alabama High School Graduation Exam in December, should take advantage of our After-School Tutoring Sessions. The schedule for these sessions will be posted on tomorrow's blog. Don't miss out on this opportunity!!!

Transcript Reivew

Seniors, we are currently in the process of reviewing transcripts, again. I will be stopping by classrooms over the next few days to give students the opportunity to double-check transcripts for errors or omissions.

ACT Registration

Seniors, the deadline for the next administration of the ACT is November 4. If you wish to take the ACT, please visit www.ACTstudent.org. The next test will be given December 10, 2011.

The School Code for NBHS is 011793.

If you qualify for free or reduced lunch, you may be eligible to receive and ACT Registration Fee Waiver. Come by my office for a waiver form.

College Applications

Students, if you have not already applied for admission to the college(s) you wish to attend....you really need to get on the ball. You may apply online, or you may come by my office to pick up an application. Most college admissions websites can be accessed by simply "googling" the college name and admissions. For example, if you type "University of Alabama" and "admissions," the first hit is the UA admissions page. Typically, most four-year universities have application fees, so have the debit/credit card handy.
